Home, sign-in & account controls
Learn what each navigation link, account action, and first-prompt control does.
Step-by-step guidance.
Before you start
- Open the named screen in Rumata. Available controls may depend on your account, permissions, and resource state.
The Home prompt composer
Choose the context before sending the first request. A project owns your application resources; a factory is the workspace used to build them.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Prompt field | Describe what you want to build. Include who will use it, what they need to do, and the smallest result you want first. |
| Shift + Return | Add a new line to your prompt without sending it. |
| Select project / Project: [name] | Open the project picker and choose an existing project. Registration provisions your first private project; this picker has no create action. For another application, send a new Home prompt in the same project. For a separate project or an empty picker, follow project setup. |
| Project search field | Narrow the available project list. Project names and descriptions help you choose the right one. |
| Close in the project picker | Dismiss the picker without selecting a different project. |
| Plan / Build (first prompt mode) | Switch the initial mode. Plan asks for an approach; Build asks Rumata to implement it. Review the selected label before sending. |
| Factory Settings | Choose the coding agent and workspace persistence settings for the factory. Save settings keeps the selected setup; Cancel discards unsaved choices. |
| Send | Submit the prompt and enter the factory workspace. It stays disabled until the required input and readiness conditions are met; an empty composer cannot be sent. |
Watch: draft a prompt (not submitted)14 sec
A 14-second capture of typing in the real Home (opens in a new tab) chat box, slowed for reading. No prompt is submitted.
Read the transcript
- On Home (opens in a new tab), describe the website you want in everyday language.
- Add the important details: lessons, pronunciation audio, and an optional alphabet path.
- Next, choose a project, keep Plan mode, and send. This demo leaves the prompt unsent.
Factory cards
Each card opens a workspace for building an application. Factories share your subscription.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Factory card / name | Open that factory with its conversations, preview, and product tools. |
| Frontend deployed / Frontend not deployed | Show the factory’s frontend deployment state and open the associated deployment information or controls. A development preview and a deployed frontend are separate. |
| Delete [factory name] | Open the deletion confirmation. Review whether owned resources will also be removed, and cancel if you only meant to close the factory. |
Sign-in and registration
The signed-out form can differ from the account screens above. Use the identity that owns your projects or received your invitation.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Sign in / Create an account / Login / Register | Switch between existing-account login and new-account registration. Switching the form does not create an account. |
| Full name | Enter your name for a new account. |
| Enter a valid email address. If an account already exists, sign in rather than registering a duplicate. | |
| Password / Choose a password | Enter your password. The registration form requires at least eight characters. |
| Show password / Hide password | Reveal or mask the password locally so you can check what you typed. |
| Terms and Privacy consent | Review the linked policies and select the consent checkbox before completing registration. |
| Verification challenge | Complete the anti-abuse verification if it is shown. Registration remains unavailable until you complete any required challenge. |
| Continue with Google | Open Google sign-in and choose the account you want to use with Rumata. Complete any required consent or approval steps. |
| Sign in / Create account submit button | Submit the displayed form. Read field errors or the page message if access is not granted. |
| Explore examples | From the approval-pending page, open the examples linked by Rumata while access is being reviewed. |
| View subscription plans | When the account needs a subscription, open Pricing (opens in a new tab) to choose a plan. |
