## Before you start

- Open the named screen in Rumata. Available controls may depend on your account, permissions, and resource state.

## Application navigation

Use these links to move between account pages.

| Control | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Rumata logo / Home / Back to Home / Go to Homepage / Return to the Main Realm | Return to [Home](https://app.rumata.dev/), where you can start work or open a factory. |
| Back to Workspace on a missing page | Open the workspace route. You may need to select a factory again. |
| Factories | Jump to the factory cards on [Home](https://app.rumata.dev/). |
| Usage / Usage Dashboard | Open your account allowances, current workloads, and usage history. |
| Invitations | Review group invitations sent to your account. An empty list means you have no pending invitations. |
| Profile | Review your account information, membership date, current plan, and plan features. Your name and email are read-only on this page. |
| Upgrade plan / Upgrade Plan | Open [Pricing](https://app.rumata.dev/pricing) to compare subscriptions and AI credit packs. Opening [Pricing](https://app.rumata.dev/pricing) does not buy anything. |
| Accessibility / Privacy / Support | Open the relevant Rumata policy or contact page. |
| Open application menu | On a narrow screen, open the navigation drawer. Choose a destination or close the drawer to return to the page. |
| Skip to main content | Keyboard users can skip repeated navigation and move directly to the page content. |
| Documentation / Read the guide | Open Rumata’s documentation for the current screen. The control reference explains individual buttons; Technical details adds developer information. |
| Cookie settings → Necessary only | Keep optional cookies off while retaining storage needed for the application to work. |
| Cookie settings → Allow optional / Details | Allow optional cookies, or open the policy’s cookie explanation before deciding. |
| Toggle theme | Switch between light and dark appearance. Your project data stays unchanged. |

## The Home prompt composer

Choose the context before sending the first request. A project owns your application resources; a factory is the workspace used to build them.

| Control | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Prompt field | Describe what you want to build. Include who will use it, what they need to do, and the smallest result you want first. |
| Shift + Return | Add a new line to your prompt without sending it. |
| Select project / Project: [name] | Open the project picker and choose an existing project. Registration provisions your first private project; this picker has no create action. For another application, send a new Home prompt in the same project. For a separate project or an empty picker, follow [project setup](https://docs.rumata.dev/guides/create-project#project). |
| Project search field | Narrow the available project list. Project names and descriptions help you choose the right one. |
| Close in the project picker | Dismiss the picker without selecting a different project. |
| Plan / Build (first prompt mode) | Switch the initial mode. [Plan](https://docs.rumata.dev/guides/controls-home-account#first-prompt-controls) asks for an approach; [Build](https://docs.rumata.dev/guides/controls-home-account#first-prompt-controls) asks Rumata to implement it. Review the selected label before sending. |
| Factory Settings | Choose the coding agent and workspace persistence settings for the factory. [Save settings](https://docs.rumata.dev/guides/controls-factory#factory-details) keeps the selected setup; Cancel discards unsaved choices. |
| Send | Submit the prompt and enter the factory workspace. It stays disabled until the required input and readiness conditions are met; an empty composer cannot be sent. |

Describe what people should be able to do, check the project and mode, then send when ready. This demonstration was not sent.

## Factory cards

Each card opens a workspace for building an application. [Factories](https://docs.rumata.dev/guides/controls-home-account#navigation) share your subscription.

| Control | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Factory card / name | Open that factory with its conversations, preview, and product tools. |
| Frontend deployed / Frontend not deployed | Show the factory’s frontend deployment state and open the associated deployment information or controls. A development preview and a deployed frontend are separate. |
| Delete [factory name] | Open the deletion confirmation. Review whether owned resources will also be removed, and cancel if you only meant to close the factory. |

## Account menu and password changes

[Open account menu](https://docs.rumata.dev/guides/controls-home-account#account-menu) is beside your avatar. Password changes and logout affect your account session.

| Control | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Open account menu | Show your current identity and the [Profile](https://app.rumata.dev/profile), [Usage Dashboard](https://app.rumata.dev/usage), [Invitations](https://app.rumata.dev/invitations), [Change password](https://docs.rumata.dev/guides/controls-home-account#account-menu), and [Log out](https://docs.rumata.dev/guides/controls-home-account#account-menu) actions. |
| Change password | Open a form asking for the current password, a new password, and confirmation. This is not the password-reset flow for your Google account. |
| Current password | Enter the existing Rumata password. An incorrect value is reported beside this field. |
| New password / Confirm new password | Enter the replacement password twice. The two new values must match. |
| Update password / Updating… | Submit the password change. Wait for success or the displayed error before trying again. The button is disabled while the request is in progress. |
| Close in Change password | [Close](https://docs.rumata.dev/guides/controls-home-account#account-menu) the dialog and clear its password fields without submitting. |
| Log out / Sign out | End the current Rumata sign-in session. Save or finish any work that depends on the session before signing out. |

## Sign-in and registration

The signed-out form can differ from the account screens above. Use the identity that owns your projects or received your invitation.

| Control | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Sign in / Create an account / Login / Register | Switch between existing-account login and new-account registration. Switching the form does not create an account. |
| Full name | Enter your name for a new account. |
| Email | Enter a valid email address. If an account already exists, sign in rather than registering a duplicate. |
| Password / Choose a password | Enter your password. The registration form requires at least eight characters. |
| Show password / Hide password | Reveal or mask the password locally so you can check what you typed. |
| Terms and Privacy consent | Review the linked policies and select the consent checkbox before completing registration. |
| Verification challenge | Complete the anti-abuse verification if it is shown. Registration remains unavailable until you complete any required challenge. |
| Continue with Google | Open Google sign-in and choose the account you want to use with Rumata. Complete any required consent or approval steps. |
| Sign in / Create account submit button | Submit the displayed form. Read field errors or the page message if access is not granted. |
| Explore examples | From the approval-pending page, open the examples linked by Rumata while access is being reviewed. |
| View subscription plans | When the account needs a subscription, open [Pricing](https://app.rumata.dev/pricing) to choose a plan. |

## Watch: draft a prompt (not submitted)

A 14-second capture of typing in the real [Home](https://app.rumata.dev/) chat box, slowed for reading. No prompt is submitted.

[Watch the video](https://docs.rumata.dev/media/tutorial/write-first-prompt.mp4) · [Captions](https://docs.rumata.dev/media/tutorial/write-first-prompt.vtt)

On [Home](https://app.rumata.dev/), describe the website you want in everyday language.

Add the important details: lessons, pronunciation audio, and an optional alphabet path.

Next, choose a project, keep [Plan](https://docs.rumata.dev/guides/controls-home-account#first-prompt-controls) mode, and send. This demo leaves the prompt unsent.
